A straight answer about the Canadian-side Niagara boat — and how it works if you'd rather be driven.
The Niagara City Cruises ticket is roughly CA$48 plus HST for an adult, bought at the gate (seasonal, late April–November). Our chauffeur service is separate and priced per vehicle, from CA$580 for the day.
The boat you board on the Canadian side is Niagara City Cruises, not the US Maid of the Mist — the two run from opposite shores, and we stay in Canada, so we never cross the border for it. A standard adult daytime ticket for the roughly 20-minute Voyage to the Falls runs about CA$48 plus 13% HST, with lower child pricing and higher-priced evening and illumination sailings. Those tickets are bought at the gate or on the operator's own site; we are a transport-only chauffeur service, so we never sell or mark up admission — the fare you pay is the operator's, not ours.
Budget for the extras that surround the boat, too. The cruise sails seasonally, roughly late April through November, and every voyage takes you into the base of Horseshoe Falls — you will get soaked even with the poncho they hand out. Parking near the Canadian gateway, food along the parkway, and any evening illumination upgrade all sit on top of the ticket. The good news: the nightly falls illumination and the seasonal fireworks (typically around 10 PM in summer plus special dates) are free public shows you can watch from the promenade with no ticket at all.
Where our side stays simple is the drive. From Toronto it is about 128 km, near 90 minutes each way, and we quote one flat rate per vehicle with the 13% HST already inside it — never per person, and no deposit to hold the car.
