Your day, step by step

Your boat tour from Burlington

A private tour — the driver waits at every stop, so the day runs on your clock, from pickup in Burlington to the drenching at the base of the Horseshoe on the Canadian-side boat.

  1. 01

    Door-to-door pickup

Your chauffeur meets you at your Burlington address — no border, no passport, no US-side parking. The Canadian side gives you the identical boat experience.

  2. 02

    The drive down

A 58-minute run to Table Rock, where you get the decision straight: the US-side Maid of the Mist and the Canadian-side Niagara City Cruises are the same base-of-the-Horseshoe soak — you ride the Canadian one.

  3. 03

    Board the boat

Niagara City Cruises boards below Table Rock. You buy the ~CA$48 ticket at the gate; the driver holds the vehicle and your bags.

  4. 04

    Voyage to the Falls

The ~20-minute sail runs past the American Falls into the Horseshoe's spray — the shot everyone knows, from the Canadian shore.

  5. 05

    The ride home

The same chauffeur returns you to Burlington, no wet drive, no wrong-side-of-the-border detour.

Private Niagara boat-tour pickup from Burlington

Burlington already knows the pull of open water — the Brant Street Pier, the long lawns of Spencer Smith Park, the boardwalk crowd that gathers at the waterfront on any warm evening. A day below Table Rock trades that calm harbour for the roar of the Horseshoe, and it’s a swap couples, three-generation families from Alton Village, and corporate teams from the north-end business parks make often. We collect you door-to-door from the waterfront, Aldershot, or an Alton Village driveway — one vehicle, one Burlington pickup, no shuffling to a lot.

The run to Niagara is about 58 minutes and 78 km from Burlington, and a genuinely scenic stretch of QEW past Stoney Creek and the Grimsby bench rather than a slog. You lift onto the highway and cross the Burlington Skyway high over the canal, then arch over the Welland Canal on the Garden City Skyway near St. Catharines before the Falls. Pricing stays flat per vehicle with 13% HST already inside — Sedan CA$580, SUV CA$820, Van CA$1,240 for the six-hour day, never per person and never a deposit.

We stay entirely on the Canadian side — no border, no passport, and no drive to the US-side Maid of the Mist. At Niagara you buy your own boarding pass at the Niagara City Cruises gate below Table Rock, about CA$48 plus HST for the roughly 20-minute Voyage to the Falls that soaks everyone at the Horseshoe. Your chauffeur waits the whole visit, then can time the free nightly falls illumination or the seasonal 10 p.m. fireworks straight back to your Burlington door.

Straight answers

Burlington → Niagara: your questions

How long is the drive from Burlington to Niagara Falls?

About 58 minutes each way (78 km) via the QEW and Niagara Parkway, traffic depending. Your chauffeur tracks conditions and times the pickup so you arrive relaxed.

Do you pick up anywhere in Burlington?

Yes — any Burlington address: home, hotel, office or a specific landmark. Door-to-door both ways, with no extra charge for the pickup within the area.

Is the Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side?

The Maid of the Mist departs from the US side and needs a passport. On the Canadian side the equivalent boat is Niagara City Cruises — the same voyage to the foot of the Horseshoe Falls, and the boat our tours use. No passport, no border crossing.

Do you sell the boat tickets?

No — we're a transport service. We drive you to the dock and wait; you buy your Niagara City Cruises ticket (about CA$48 + HST) directly at the gate. That keeps our price honest and lets you skip the boat if the weather turns.

Will I get wet on the boat?

Yes — that's the point. The boat sails into the spray at the base of the Horseshoe Falls. A recyclable poncho is provided at the dock, but expect a refreshing soak.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. One flat rate covers the whole car with 13% HST included — the boat ticket is separate and paid at the gate.

When does the boat run?

Niagara City Cruises operates roughly late April through November, weather permitting. Outside that season we still run the day tour to the Falls; the boat simply isn't sailing.
