Your day, step by step

Your boat tour from Toronto

A private tour — the driver waits at every stop, so the day runs on your clock, from pickup in Toronto to the drenching at the base of the Horseshoe on the Canadian-side boat.

  1. 01

    Door-to-door pickup

Your chauffeur meets you at your Toronto address — no border, no passport, no US-side parking. The Canadian side gives you the identical boat experience.

  2. 02

    The drive down

A 95-minute run to Table Rock, where you get the decision straight: the US-side Maid of the Mist and the Canadian-side Niagara City Cruises are the same base-of-the-Horseshoe soak — you ride the Canadian one.

  3. 03

    Board the boat

Niagara City Cruises boards below Table Rock. You buy the ~CA$48 ticket at the gate; the driver holds the vehicle and your bags.

  4. 04

    Voyage to the Falls

The ~20-minute sail runs past the American Falls into the Horseshoe's spray — the shot everyone knows, from the Canadian shore.

  5. 05

    The ride home

The same chauffeur returns you to Toronto, no wet drive, no wrong-side-of-the-border detour.

Pickup from Toronto · Downtown & core

Private Niagara boat trips from Downtown Toronto

Most Toronto pickups begin in the Financial District, where Bay Street offices and King Street hotels empty on a Friday, everyone chasing the same escape — out of the core, into the falls by dinner. We collect couples at Union Station’s front doors, corporate groups from the Front Street towers, and families staying near the Entertainment District. Your chauffeur meets you curbside, loads the bags, and Toronto is behind you before the Gardiner backs up.

The run is simple, but timing rules it. From the core we take the Gardiner onto the QEW, hug the lake past Burlington, and lift over the Garden City Skyway toward Niagara — about 95 minutes and 128 kilometres when traffic cooperates. Leave downtown after 3 PM on a summer Friday and the Burlington stretch crawls, so we plan around it and simply wait at the falls — no meter running while you cruise.

At the water you buy your own admission at the gate — we never sell tickets, and we never cross to the US-side Maid of the Mist. The Canadian-side boat is Niagara City Cruises, roughly CA$48 plus HST with no passport — a 20-minute Voyage to the Falls that leaves you soaked under the Horseshoe. Illumination glows nightly and seasonal fireworks fire around 10 PM — both free public shows — and your flat per-vehicle rate is Sedan CA$580, SUV CA$820, Van CA$1,240 for six hours, 13% HST in, no deposit.

Straight answers

Toronto → Niagara: your questions

How long is the drive from Toronto to Niagara Falls?

About 95 minutes each way (128 km) via the QEW and Niagara Parkway, traffic depending. Your chauffeur tracks conditions and times the pickup so you arrive relaxed.

Do you pick up anywhere in Toronto?

Yes — any Toronto address: home, hotel, office or a specific landmark. Door-to-door both ways, with no extra charge for the pickup within the area.

Is the Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side?

The Maid of the Mist departs from the US side and needs a passport. On the Canadian side the equivalent boat is Niagara City Cruises — the same voyage to the foot of the Horseshoe Falls, and the boat our tours use. No passport, no border crossing.

Do you sell the boat tickets?

No — we're a transport service. We drive you to the dock and wait; you buy your Niagara City Cruises ticket (about CA$48 + HST) directly at the gate. That keeps our price honest and lets you skip the boat if the weather turns.

Will I get wet on the boat?

Yes — that's the point. The boat sails into the spray at the base of the Horseshoe Falls. A recyclable poncho is provided at the dock, but expect a refreshing soak.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. One flat rate covers the whole car with 13% HST included — the boat ticket is separate and paid at the gate.

When does the boat run?

Niagara City Cruises operates roughly late April through November, weather permitting. Outside that season we still run the day tour to the Falls; the boat simply isn't sailing.
